Life Skills

life skill

plural noun: life skills

  1. a skill that is necessary or desirable for full participation in everyday life.

LifeSkills is a life group that meets every Sunday at 3:00pm in the upstairs foyer of Lakeside. We are learning basic vehicle maintenance, cooking and grilling, money management, and much more.

And the most important “life skill”…

1 Peter 3:15 says “...Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have...” So, every week we study Apologetics; preparing our hearts and minds to give strong answers to real questions, strengthening our faith and understanding of our Lord, living out the teaching of Jesus to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

Want to learn something new? Have a skill or talent you would like to share? Want to spend the afternoon with some amazing young adults? Even if you think you’re past the point of needing to learn a new “life skill” this group is for you!
