Victory In Jesus

Oct 11, 2026  •  Pastor Ron Simmons

What does it truly mean to walk in victory as a follower of Christ? This message takes us on a journey past the cross and into the reality of the empty tomb, challenging us to rethink where our victory actually comes from. The central passage, drawn from 1 Corinthians 15, reminds us that death has been swallowed up in victory, and that this victory is not something we earn or manufacture, but something freely given to us through Jesus Christ. The cross, while a powerful symbol of sacrifice, was an instrument of suffering and death. The real turning point, the moment that changes everything, is the empty tomb. When we anchor our faith there, we stop merely enduring life and start living as conquerors. The message is clear: our circumstances do not define our victory. Whether we are walking through financial hardship, relational struggle, or grief, the risen Christ remains the constant in our lives. We are invited to move beyond a faith that is stuck at Friday and fully embrace the Sunday morning reality that He is risen, and because He is risen, so are we.
