I am a patriot and proud to be an American! I spent almost eleven years in the USAF and had God not explicitly told me to get out of the military and go full-time ministry I would have made it a career. However, God had a better plan. So in December of 1992 I left the military and began serving the church full-time. Paula and I will have been married 32 years this August (2017). She is one of the hardest working women I know, and she loves the Lord and the church with all of her heart. I would not want to attempt ministry without her. We have two grown children. A son Robbie, and his wife Robyn, and a daughter, Amy, and her husband Todd Kitchens. They all live in Ardmore, OK along with our identical twin granddaughters, Avery and Sterling, who were born Oct 3, 2016 to Amy and Todd. Ardmore became our home in May of 1995 when we were selected as founding pastors of the New Hope Church of God there. We spent 22 years there learning, loving, and growing. Leaving Ardmore and the church was one of the hardest decisions we have ever made. What made it possible was the fact that we were confident that God had called us to Lakeside, here is Norman. Serving God and the church is just about all we know, and life couldn’t get any better! I believe that God has great plans for Lakeside, and Paula and I feel extremely honored to be part of that plan. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us. I hope you will be a part of it!

I grew up in Bethel Acres, Oklahoma. Just southwest of Shawnee. It's a small town where everyone knows each other and we're proud of family and country. Both of my parents own their own business. My mother owns Stepping Stones Learning Center, a wonderful daycare and my father owns Robb's Smokehouse, the best BBQ in the state. I was 15 when I felt the call from the Lord to become a youth pastor. 10 years later on May 1st, 2017 God brought me to Lakeside and opened the door for me to be the youth pastor. It's been such a blessing to watch God move in our youth services. He has shifted our focus not to just be entertained but to be drastically and radically changed. We are seeing deeper walks and deeper relationships in these young men and women of God. I can't wait to see what God is going to do next.

Children's Pastors Julio & Tiffany deLeon

We are Julio and Tiffany de Leon. When we are not busy serving in our church we are chasing after our 5 amazing, perfectly-imperfect kids. We are so excited that God has called US to disciple children. What a blessing and an honor!  “Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 Kids are a vital part of our homes, our churches, and our community. We want to partner with families to live out Proverbs 22:6; to teach children to worship our amazing God with all they are, go to Him in prayer for all things, and to discover ways they can serve Him by serving others.

Tricia has served as the coordinator for the Lakeside Church of God Mpact Girls’ Clubs for approximately five years.  She oversees the organization of the clubs and teachers, and directs the annual recognition ceremony.  Her passion for ministry associated with young girls comes partially from her three granddaughters, who participate in the clubs.  She tells us, “It is through every-day conversations with my granddaughters that I am reminded of the importance of Godly instruction and influence in a young girl’s life.  If we can guide just one girl to Christ, it’s all worth it.”

Tricia has served the OU Gallogly College of Engineering for over 27 years. She now serves as the college’s Director of Annual Giving.  She has received the Certificate in Fund Raising Management from The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.  Tricia was raised Pentecostal Holiness, attending the Southgate PH Church in Moore for over 25 years until joining Lakeside Church of God in 1993.  She and her husband, Berry, have attended and been involved at Lakeside ever since.
